Who I am
Hi, I’m Vivien Schmitt, a trader and software developer. I’ve been programming trading indicators and algorithms since 2018. While I mainly work with ProRealTime, I also explore other platforms like NinjaTrader and Python.
I created Artificall to share my knowledge in both trading and programming, helping traders like you trade smarter and more efficiently.
My Story
I spent over eight years working as a software developer in the banking and financial sector. After the coronavirus pandemic, I realized I wanted to take control of my professional life and decided to start my own business.
During the lockdown, I wrote the first edition of my book “Automated Trading using ProRealTime”, later published in French as “Trading Automatique avec ProRealTime” on Amazon. That project marked the beginning of Artificall, a space where I could combine my two passions — trading and coding — to create something useful for the trading community.

I’m not here to sell dreams or promise overnight success. Trading isn’t about luck — it’s about skill, discipline, and using the right tools. With a structured approach, you can realistically aim for consistent results of 15–20% per year.
That’s why I developed my advanced ProRealTime indicators: to make trading decisions simpler, clearer, and more reliable. Markets can be chaotic, filled with noise and emotions that cloud judgment — and my goal is to cut through that noise.

I recently joined the NinjaTrader Ecosystem. I will begin developing indicators and tools for the NinjaTrader platform this year. The first indicator may be available in some months.
