Company description

Tai Sin Electric Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and deals in cable and wire products. It operates through Cable & Wire, Electrical Material Distribution, Test & Inspection, and Switchboard segments. The Cable & Wire segment designs, develops, manufactures, and trades in electrical power distribution products, including power, control, instrumentation, fire resistant and flame retardant cables, and branch cable systems for use in various areas of electrical and instrumentation installation for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The Electrical Material Distribution segment provides industrial control systems and components, sensing products, measurement and monitoring systems, and power quality systems; and safety, cabling, and electrical accessories, as well as lighting and energy monitoring solutions to a range of industries, which includes industrial automation, maintenance, repair, and operations. The Test & Inspection segment offers testing, inspection, and certification services for materials comprising concrete, soil, and asphalt premixes. The Switchboard segment designs and manufactures switchgears comprising low voltage main and sub switchboards, distribution boards, control panels, and others for use in large buildings and industrial installations. The company also engages in general construction and technical engineering, oil and gas, testing and analysis, and non-construction activities, as well as distributing electricals, controls lighting, and safety products. It serves end-users, contractors, manufacturers, system integrators, engineers, and consultants in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, and internationally. The company was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Singapore.
